Kyoo-Won is a senior underwriter of the World Bank Group guarantee platform, housed at MIGA, i.e., the political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank Group. He is responsible for leading the underwriting and business development for projects in the carbon credit market. Prior to joining MIGA, Kyoo-Won worked at the World Bank as a Financial Sector Specialist, where he led private and financial sector development projects in South Asian countries. He also previously served in the Export-Import Bank of Korea, where he held several positions across project finance, trade finance, debt capital markets and strategic management teams.
