Edwin Cogho

Edwin is an environmental scientist passionate about applying science to real-world climate solutions. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Atmospheric Chemistry Research Group at North-West University (NWU), where he focused on atmospheric pollutants and their interaction within the environment.
Currently, Edwin is the Carbon Portfolio Head for TASC, leading the development and implementation of high-integrity carbon projects. His work bridges scientific research with practical climate action, delivering measurable emissions reductions and removals while improving lives on the ground. This role allows him to combine his love for science with a commitment to building a more sustainable and equitable future
