David Hynes is a senior manager at Gold Standard, where he leads work on the standard’s participation in international compliance carbon markets, including Article 6 and CORSIA. Before Gold Standard, he was a carbon pricing and markets advisor at the consultancy firm adelphi and also worked in the UK government for nearly eight years, where he led Article 6 negotiations for the UK Presidency at COP26 in 2021
