Anne Mumbi Njoroge

Anne is a Senior Program Officer at the Global Land, Environment and Climate Program at Namati. Her role focuses on supporting and empowering marginalized communities across Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America to know, use, and shape the law, which includes supporting communities in negotiating carbon market agreements. She also leads and supports carbon markets policymaking and influencing at the national, regional, and global levels. Anne holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Kenyatta University in Kenya and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in the Low Carbon Just Transition from the University of Dundee, Scotland. Her master’s dissertation focused on de-risking carbon financing in Africa.
